I have neglected to update our blog in a while, so there is some exciting news to share!
First: We are in the process of welcoming our new Teen Parent Coordinator!  Jenny, Will be good to get to know another awesome mom, that cares for you!
Second: We are in the second week of Love and Logic and will continue for the next 4 weeks.
Third: Still meeting every Thursday from 6-8 we are doing love and logic at this time, but if you are new and would like to check it out, you are always welcome!

Hello Wonderful Moms!
I am so excited to celebrate your time in Embrace with us tomorrow night.  There are so many things to commend you all for, you have all grown and shown effort to become better parents. You are all still in the process... just like me and the rest of the world haha, the point is, you are in the process, and workin at it!  SO keep up the good work, and don't tire, for our hard work is not in vane, and you will reap what you sew, into your own life as well as into your kids lives.
Come and join us, I am excited to give you a hug and tell you how proud I am of you, and give you a special gift to remember this season of your life.

Remember, Thursday (tomorrow) 5:45 is refreshments, and 6-8 is the ceremony, upstairs in the skybox at YFC, just follow the signs.  Bring your kids as they will be rememberd and celebrated as well! Dress nice, semi formal.

Hi Ladies!  Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather finally!  We are going to take advantage of it this Thursday as we are going to meet at riverside park!
If you need a ride let Susie know if you want to bring a food item to share that would be great!  We will picnic and watch the kids play!  Remember swim diapers and bug spray! 6-8pm

Please try as hard as you can to make it to Embrace tomorrow night!  It is an important night!  Love you and excited about what we are going to share with you!

Tomorrow is Family Meal Night!!!
Bring your support system... yes if your boyfriend is going to be permanent and supports you and your kiddos then bring him... or your parents sister or anyone who is helping you day to day.

We will be having Lasagna bread and a salad.  Also Jeannetta will be bringing a little craft for us!

Should be fun!

You can have time to write in your journals and shop in Abigail's Closet as well.

Matthew 7:7-11

^7-11 “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?

Recap from last night:
God loves you right now... not if you do this and that, but right now.  All you need to do to get closer to Him is to truly want to and to try.  There are things you can do to help you make good choices like surround yourself with people who are also trying to make good choices, paying close attention to the tv shows you watch and the music you listen to making sure the messages they send you are encouraging you to make good choices, not bad ones.  But always remember, even if you make a mistake, God still loves you and can't wait to forgive you when  you ASK!
